this tank is sweet
i think you should add a clam or two in the sand bed. that would look great.
whoa these nems are nice
this tank is sweet
that's good news.
Quick question: how do you like the foam cover on the Vortech? If you've answered this already I apologize.
Thanks
To be honest, I kind of liked it with just anemones and clownfish: it was simple, but dramatic. But that's just me. It's still beautiful either way.![]()
This is why I won't put a nem in my sps tank. So, I've had my anemone tank for a little bit now.
I have:
5 Rose BTA
3 Pink BTA
2 Green with pink tips BTA
1 amazing yellow, orange and green BTA
They have all been happy where they were.
Well, 3 days ago, one of my nems went for a walk. It was on the left pillar at the bottom, and went all the way up top. The next day, it's back at the bottom. Yesterday morning, back at the top, then last night, it walked all the way down one pillar and up another one. Now, had this been my SPS tank I would have been so mad, as it would have just killed a ton of stuff.
I love anemones...... as long as I can control them![]()
Very cool tank! I just read through your SPS dominated thread and had to come peek over here. I do have 2 (possible) requests:
1. Could you take a pic of the inside of your overflow? It seems so small, Im wondering do you have an elbow facing down, or....? Im moving in a few months and like having a couple tanks plumbed together, and was interested.
2.Any pics of the full room/area that you have these tanks connected? Again being that I like having tanks seperate, but plumbed together. Currently I have a mixed reef, as well as a mantis tank. In the future I want a smaller reef (40 br maybe), the mantis tnak, and possibly a nem tank like this.
Both of your threads are great, with amazing pictures!!
Here is the new nem. It's just peaking so I can't take a good picture. It's bright yellow, orange and green
