I just purchased a crispa. How long does it ususally take to attach? I turned off my koralias because when I first put it in, it tumbled away and almost got into the powerheads. I want to make sure it is anchored before I turn them back on. Also, how can I ease its acclimation? Should I feed it right away?

Dont feed it right away. In fact it may not eat for about 4 or 5 days. I turned off one of my powerheads for a couple days and let him settle in. You may also want to cover your powerheads with a thin piece of filter foam to prevent him from geting sucked into a powerhead when your not around. Once he finds a spot he likes and attaches, just give him some time. Try feeding a small piece of table shrimp or a small piece of silverside and see if he takes it. If he doesnt, hes not hungry yet.

He's beige/tan with blue/purple tips, tight mouth, and no tears. I turned on the mhs to see if he will extend his tentacles. So far, 1/4 are extending...
