I have a curlycue anemone, and I had a condi. My curlycue found big hole in rock, and made himself comfortable there. My condi floated around for a few hours until I finally got tired of waiting for him to find a spot. I had a big empty clamshell that was just used as a decoration. I gently helped him into the clamshell, and he was comfortable there until he outgrew my tank. If you have a hole or deep crevice that you can help him into, try putting it into that spot. If he likes it, he'll stick around.
Also, the clamshell was awesome because I could simply pick it up and move him wherever I wanted him to be in the tank. He always stayed in the shell, and when I finally took him back to the LFS, I took him shell and all. He got HUGE and his tentacles were taking up a quarter of my 29g bowfront.
