Been looking at the forums here for about 2 years and reading along. Thanks for all the knowledge that has been passed down!

Got a new Anenome and Im not sure what kind it is. I have tried to look up what it is but nothing I have seen looks even close. Im pretty sure it is bleached what ever it is and it has a light pink tip to it. If anyone can figure this out please let me know!

Seems like a really bleached RBTA IMO. Hope you got a good deal on it as it will take so time to get it back to its original color. Is it accepting food? Sticky tentacles.

Just got him this weekend so he is a little stressed... I tried to feed him Mysis on Monday and it didn't stick very long. I'm going to let him soak up some lighting and try again tomorrow. This isnt my first anenome. I also have a sebae in the tank with him who has been doing very well for about 1 year. I only paid $15 him so I dont think it was a bad deal

Watch both nems carefully as one might not are well due to chemical warfare. I had to take a nem out of my tank because it was making the other one look bad (open mouth and floating around). As soon as I took the nem out the sick one was fine. I know people keep different types of nems together without problems, but bring that up.

Thanks I'll keep that in mind. They both look good and the Sebea is eating. They are far apart and have plenty of room to move around in the 75G tank. Seems like the Sebae likes to dig into the substrate and the BTA seems to like the rock. Ill keep an eye on the water chemistry and keep up on my religious weekly water changes. Hopefully they live peacefully together.

Anemone ate the Mysis today with even with the pumps on. Took hold of it right away and pulled it right in. I have a combo of Compact Florescent lights and LED (phasing out CFL slowly) and Im only using about 1/2 of my lighting on a 6 hour cycle. He looks like he is doing very well and Ill try turning up my lights this weekend to see how he takes it.

It's a good sign it's reacting to the food. Just wait & see how it goes.

If you could post some pics of its progress in getting some color back that would AWESOME!! Not sure if anyone has done this before on RC, but I'd like to know about it.
