New Australia Harlequin Tusk

Well its been a while, so I thought i would update this thread. My Aussi Harlequin Tusk didn't make it :(

I could never get it to eat. I wanted to try another one, waited a bit, and recently found one at my LFS. He is about 6-7", he is a Aussi. So I pulled the trigger and got him. This one is doing really good. Second day and he is eating...Here is a pic...

Looking good Minh !

Looking at the pics, r/s of tail looks red like the Aussi type, and l/s of tail looks white. Maybe the red is the reflection of the rocks ?

Now I see the dates you put above pics... Wow developed a lot of red on that tail !

+1...
I've never seen any tiny/small Aussey tusks FS

Hey albano...

I see you shared a lot of information on this thread, and I do appreciate it !
But you never shared a pic of your H.T. Thats if you have one, and I beleive you do right???

So lets see a pic buddy :)

IMO,
The size and health of the HT matter a lot in coloration. Australia HT maybe a little better in coloration but if size and health are the same, origin of the fish mater some but not as much as most of us thought.

Minh... Keep us posted on your Harlequin Tusk, Like to see how he develops as he gets bigger....
