Moved On
Well i just got a bluecarpet today. It is a hadoni and boy is it nice. I will post some pics, but right now he is acclimating. I have maroons, what are the chances that they will host? A rough estimate.

Well here is the Haddoni right after i put him in the tank.

might i enquire what you paid for that guy? i've been looking for a blue or purple for about 3 months now and just can't justify the $400 price tag. he looks AMAZING- be sure to post some pics when he is happy and open!

Well i bought this anemone last May for my 12 gallon nano. Soon to find out that it was going to outgrow my tank in no time and made a trade with my friend 55semireef for the carpet. Well since that time i have had the chance to take it back, it was given back to me for free( what a good friend ), i did not like doing that but i could not deny this wonderful carpet and i took it like a good friend would. The carpet was about 4 inches across when i bought it and now when fully extended it is easily over 12 inches across. I paid back in may for this carpet 120 bucks, and now to me it is priceless. It was my very first anemone.

Any updates on my ex-blue Haddoni?

BTW, for those that don't know me, this was MY Haddoni. This is what it looked like in my tank:

But I am hopefully getting a 1.5 ft Green Haddoni so its all good. :D

The chances that the maroon will host is very good, but it will take some time. It took mine about a month to hook up with my blue carpet. That price seems kinda high- I only paid $45 for mine from my LFS. I guess I got a great deal. Mine is about 10in across. He is my favorite thing in my tank right now. I'm looking for a green one right now, but know luck yet.

Some days he is Really blue and other days he's kinda faded out a bit. Early in the morning he is kinda light and by early afternoon he is blue like in the pictures.

Well he is still in the acclimation process. The tank that he was in had a green gigantea where they both seemed to have a chemical warfare going on and that is why i was given the blue carpet. He is still in recovery, does anyone have any info on the chemical warefare that probably took place? He was that size in the pictures but when 55semireef added the gigantea he became much smaller and began to move about the tank, once again does anyone have much info on this? Thanks a bunch.
