maybe a bubbling sunken treasure chest. Whaddaya think? :D
I think a sunken submarine broken in half would work too Gary. lol
The tank is looking GREAT!!!!!!

gary, I would recommend a sea hare. I don't have much long hair algae but its eating and pooin' just fine. interesting creature although it is ugly as can be.

Looks great Gary!

Thats how I stacked my rock previously, all along the center.

I hope my tank looks even half as good when I get it back together.

I've always seen them called Scolymia, but it's been a debated topic for years. Either Cynarina or Scolymia works. But looking at the skeleton, it sure looks like Cynarina.
Yeah... Cynarina. :)

Interesting suggestion, but I don't think a hare would last very long in my aquarium. I really don't have much algae or other goodies for it to eat. Believe it or not, I'm kind of enjoying watching the algae right now.

A (relatively) new and blue addition.

Fantastic! I love the different choice.

Now that you've had many of the tangs possible, which do you think that you'll go with in the new tank.

I've always wanted a Powder Blue.
Before I knew any better (when I started up my first reef aquarium) I tried one. Needless to say, it didn't survive very long.
(It's not a fish for n00bs.)
This one is from MO. John got it from George at 'Sea Dwelling Creatures' (ie: it's a MAC certified fish).
I've had it for almost a month and I'm hoping to have it for a long time... ditto for my Striatus Bristletooth and Yellow Tang.

BTW- the wall Hammer coral in that picture isn't as close as it appears to be to the Candy cane coral (it's an optical illusion).
However, it is growing at an amazing rate and will soon reach the Caulastrea...

That PBT sure would look nice with a Orange Shoulder tang.....Provided there isn't a war between the two Acanthuras Sp.
I have become quite the fan of the OST since I got mine. Seems to get along with the Hippo and the YT. The hippo isn't a Acanthuras but its close. the only sqabbles seem to be inbetween the YT and the OST.

Well Fwiw thats my vote

Scott.

I like OS Tangs a lot but I don't feel like pushing my luck with the PBT.

Do you have a recent full tank shot? :fun4:
I won't be able to get a decent full tank shot until later this autumn when the sun sets earlier. I have windows all around the new aquarium and the reflections are as bad as at the old house.

Now THAT's some great news! Bravo, Gary!

Ditto that sentiment. FWIW this particular PBT was acting much more calm than most others I've ever seen. It might have something to do with the manner in which it was collected.

Phhh, C'mon now, I've held up bedsheets in front of the window's in your old house to get a picture or two... How many URS's we need for the new house? :D

congrats. it seems like it takes a long time. like a expecting father(or mother). you might curse it later when its time to clean the glass.
