Giganteas usually don't ship well from the ocean. You really need to get one in good health to start with.
Don't want to get you down or anything but giganteas that looks like that don't usually survive the fist week of acclimation. It will go into the deflate/inflate cycle during the night(and day). I've seen too many threads ab posts about this.
There's no real proven way of getting a sick gigantea back to health. I can only say that they like high flow an high light when healthy. People have tried many ways to improve the health but the majority failed and the gigantea ended up dead. I've seen people doing things from using antibiotic to even zoanthallae transplant but the gigantea did not survive.

The sad thing is that the clowns might contribute to the acclimating anemone demise. The anemone will likely expell some waste. Clowns love to eat the waste and they tend to dig and dig into the anemone mouth.

Didn't take long for your clowns to find it, LOL.
It should make its way higher on your rocks. It will not stay low in the tank unless you have very bright lighting. It will like to be up in high light and high flow water. It appears mostly bleached - so make sure you try to feed it small food frequently as it recovers its zooxanthellae. Once it darkens up you won't need to feed it often - if at all.

Have you tried feeding it yet? The mouth doesn't look to be gaping or anything. I would try to feed it but figure a way to keep the clowns away so they don't steal the food. Some have posted using a plastic strawberry basket or something large enough to block the fish while the anemone has time to ingest the food. Not too big a piece of raw shrimp or something should do the trick.

ya when i tried some of the smaller foods i had the clowns took it right off even though the carpet is still very sticky. Was thinking of maybe doing some kril or silversides, something large enough it wont intrest the clowns.
