New ESL Release

i am also having problems i with my radions connection to the eco smart live and ecosmart live after i did the firmware update the will not connect at all now im not sure if my programs are still working .i am using a macbook pro which worked before now nothing

Radion Won't Connect - Mac

My Radion won't connect to ESL. I am using a Mac and all it does is saying connecting for about 2 minutes and then says disconnected. I have restarted, closed connection manager, restarted safari, everything. Based on all the comments seems like this very unstable. Any suggestions?

I too am having the same problem. I had one Radion Gen 2 Going. Had it programmed since Wednesday, and just installed 2 more Radions tonight.... Went to ESL and nothing is connection.

I have a Mac Computer only... So I have to use ESL. The Radion is being detected in the connection manager, but the LIve Site won't bring anything up now.... I also Firmware Upgraded the new fixtures one by one via the Connect Manager, that was np....

My single Radion is programmed fine. Factory Reset at this point?

Please help...
This is really ridiculous if you ask me. Just spent 2k on new lights on we are in the dark. Literally...

I agree with Above... Someone should have been working at EcoTech this weekend in case this happened...
 
i'm having problems all around! none of my lights will connect to esl, old lights reprogrammed with cu have lost the sunrise/sunset feature and i can't adjust the daylight hours anymore, g2's won't accept the program (limited as it is) from the cu...that's all for now, i'm tired of messing with it today! so much for the new install going in tomorrow.
 
We have been following this thread all weekend and appreciate your feedback and patience outside of our normal customer service hours. If you had trouble last night and/or today with EcoSmart Live, please try again. We found that there was a network connectivity problem that has been resolved.
 
Thank you for answering Shaun. Was this problem just fixed. As of 2 hours ago, Live Site just wouldn't connect. The Connection manager would, but not the site to the device...
 
WOW!! Thanks for support on a Saturday night!!! Much appreciated man!! Like I wrote above... I started with one Gen2 Fixture early this week to see how my corals would respond, and if I liked the product.... 2 Days later I had Mike at Reef Specialty Next Day Saturday Deliver me 2 more to finish the upgrade... My 3 lights are all detected and programmed... Think I'm using Radiant Mode....

chemrcm, this worked for me. Try this:

1) upgraded firmware through the connection manager
2) do factory reset through the connection manager
3) unplug the lights to force a true "reboot"
4) reboot the macbook I used to connect to the lights

After doing this I was able to finally connect to my lights via ESL. The new software update is nice!

Do you possibly have more than one Connection Manager running? We have seen this issue very rarely, but it could cause the issue that you are seeing. It shouldn't be possible to run more than one Connection Manager on the same computer, however if you tried from multiple computers it is possible.

It might be a good idea to take a look at your processes just to make sure only one instance of the Connection Manager is running.
