Hi all,

Got in a few boxes of fish last week, and I'm psyched.

All new arrivals co-existing and eating like pigs except one.

A peullus rabbitfish. (sp?)

He arrived starved to the bones and hasn't touched anything now in three days here. Tried Nori, spirulina, frozen algae, zooplankon, red algae, brine shrimp, table shrimp, chaeto. There isnt much algae on the rock, but hes not interested in that either.

Fish is swimming and curious, but sooooo thin. And wont take a bite.

Ideas? I'm worried.

Mysis----the brand piscine energetics----rinse it up with tank water and drain off-----add zoe and garlic or selcon and garlic---------then after you have him eating this for a few days or couple weeks start trying other things
-----make sure you have lots of live rock

It's not a good sign when a Rabbit fish will not eat any greens as they're usually vacum cleaners when it comes to greens. They do stress out very easily and even though he swimming around the tank he maybe still stressed out some what to start eating. I would just continue to place greens in the tank and hopefully he'll just start to eat. Make sure he doesn't have any other fish in the tank that would bother him and he has some hiding spaces, in time he'll probably start to eat some thing.
