I had the pleasure of hanging out with Chuckbuc (Charlie) and Fishman77 (Sal) tonight.

I was invited to Charlie's house and we hung out staring at his amazing reef tank! The coolest part was I haven't hung out with other reefers like that in years. I mean, guys I've only kind of met through RC or LIRA.

I remember meeting Ray, Konrad, Christine, all the joes and mikes, in a similar fashion. Just a warm welcoming that LIRA members show.

I feel more a part of LIRA because of these two fine gentlemen.
It's acts like this that get people interested in the club. The "buzz" so to speak.

It was great meeting you Bill and thanks for the kind words. Charlie has an awesome tank and always invites me over to hang out and chat about our tanks. I can say i made great friends from our club and learned a lot. You and any other memeber are always welcome to come by to check out our tanks and geek out about our hobby lol We had the same experience with Andy(longislandandy) and Matty (magulli1947) the other day after our meeting by inviting us over to check out their great tanks and generiously walking out with corals.

That's 1000g guppy system. I will be back on the reef scene when it is possible to keep more coral alive than I kill. I do not miss it one bit. The time with my kids and not worrying about alkalinity, ATO, and AEFW while 500 to 1000 miles away from home is priceless. However, less time in the fish room has led to a lot more time to eat.

I've heard this from every hard core reef Junkie out there.
Even Mgny was at my house last month. He said the same thing, but once he saw my reef, there was a twinkle in his eyes.
He'll be back, you all come back!
