i just picked him up today. it's only been a few hours but he seems to be doing well. mouth is tightly closed. he attached as soon as i put him in. and my blk and white clown just started hosting him put i will be moving him to a smaller tank and getting a pair of snowflakes within the next month. he keeps inflating and deflating. i will get some pics of him tomorrow.

here he is last night a few hours after i put him in. he didn't look to good.

Doesn't look very good. Sorry. I wish you the best of luck, but the vast majority of mags don't recover from that limp tissue and open mouth.

he closed his mouth and doesn't look lim anymore he looks a lot better. the pic makes him look like hes still limp but hes not hes just moving in the flow. he's a lot bigger then when i saw him in the store ha. i moved the powerhead so he was in a more flow area and he started doing a lot better. here he is. does it look like he's improving?

now he looks really bad again. =/ when i brought him home before i even got him out of the bag he was pretty much inside out. does this meen he was unhealthy from the start? or was it just because he was in the bag.

It was most likely unhealthy from the start. They don't ship well. In my opinion these are the most difficult anemones to keep.

yea. i've had one before and i had it for about 2 months. but that one was really healthy from the start. this one doesn't look good at all. mouth is wide open and hes limp. is there anything i can do to help it?

At this point, you can provide it with the best flow and water conditions and maybe it will rebound; time will tell.

alrite now he looks like he's doing better. his tentacles are all inflated and he moved into a higher flow area. i didn't put him there in the first place because it looked like it was too much for him. his mouth is still open but it is closing up. could he still have a chance?

since it's moved to the area with higher flow he's been doing a lot better. his mouth closed and he's fully inflated and no limp tentacles at all. he moved a few inches away from the return pump and hasn't moved since. this is the best he's looked since i've got him.

ill get some up soon. it was looking bad again this morning but i checked on it through out the night and it was doing really good. but when i woke up it had its mouth open again.

This is generally a sign of a distressed animal. I tried two and both went out exactly as you describe. I'd say you have about 20 days tops left to enjoy him. It really sucks to watch them die. One day they look great and the next they look like crap. Eventually it will stay looking like crap and then start to deteriorate. I can't tell you how much I want a healthy mag, but I've pretty much given up on them.
