New haddoni Carpet =D

this one has been setup since about early december... alot of the frags only been in there about a month though... some two..

alot of the sand was out of my other established tanks and the rock was all dry rock when i started out, i got some good coralline algae growth in 6 months :) some of the top pieces of rock are newer too only been in about a month as well

i still dont think it has settled in 100%, idk if its the new lights i added a week ago, or the RBTA..im going to be remove the RBTA as soon as my new 40 gal is setup.. and ready for it, then i can document the difference in the haddoni..but either way it looks really good as it sits..and healthy i think anyways.

after you remove the other nem and give it a week or two. if that doesn't make you happy with his appearance, replace one or two of your bulbs with 10k's and get them right over the nem. my green nem looks soooo much better with 10k's

thx for the compliments guys :)

and i like the way this looks under my ATi bulbs i got now.. :P
but, i think it finally is setttling into its spot, it moved there a couple days ago and hasnt moved since and has been really really opening up :)

Here's what my carpet looks like as of today, foot is 100% attached to the glass, but its been 100% attached since week 1 :)

my shrimp took a liking to it, and doesnt really wander far from it .. haha

haha ya i know, ive watched him do a few close calls.. but he manages to get away.. but for the past 2-3 weeks he's pretty much hovered right above it in that general area every now and then sweeps his tentacles across the haddoni.. even steps on it a few times..or tries to for the most part... usually jumps back up haha

I still plan to remove the RBTA's once the 40 gallon is setup :) but im relativly happy with my haddoni and how it looks :D
i hope to be picking up some pretty beautiful black saddlebacks up soon for them to host it :)

Shoulda waited to take RBTA's out

Shoulda waited to take RBTA's out

So, i took my RBTA's out at the wrong time i think... haha, my carpet moved after i thought it had found its sweet spot, i noticed it was slowly moving towards the RBTA's... behind the rockwork... then coming up on the side...
stuff in the general area was starting to not look so good... so out came the RBTA's in an emergency and into a temporary tank they went..they look just as good as before.

But man... if this is where the haddoni decides to stay haha it'll kinda suck, but atleast its still healthy (hasnt moved 1 inch since i took the RBTA's out and did a waterchange the same day)

its been in this same spot for a week now.. it seems to move to a new spot after every update i do haha .. but as todd has informed me, im sure it was moving just because the BTA's. (in this case i hope it atleast comes out in front)

i give you...Haddoni Cave!
