So I think I have finely got a healthy one. Bought it off of someone selling their live stock because of moving. They had it 6 months. What do yall think? I'll have had it a week today(3/2/14). I've been through 3 others bought from stores and lost them even with treatment. Lights where only on about 10 mins to get pic.

Looks really nice and so does tank, I hope your past issues w/ them are not from allelopathy w/ the other nems in your tank.

I don't believe there has been and issue with allelopathy. The first two I ordered from a lfs and they come in with mouths gaping and just never looked good from the start. They never were very sticky or ever tried to attach to anything. Both were given cipro treatments in a treatment tank and one of them never even went in the dt. This one took a scraper to get off the glass it was so sticky and attached and buried its foot almost immeditaly. Mouth has been tight sense I added it. Both big nems seam to be doing just fine but im keeping an eye on them just in case.

I usually leave them alone at least a week after intro, maybe even two.
Large feedings can stress them while they are acclimating to a new tank, so I would definitely not feed anything more than a little mysis for sure.

Haddoni, especially larger ones like yours can handle large pieces of sea food without problem (about 1cc). Like other indicated, I would not feed him until he is adapted to your aquarium about 1 week or so. It away hard for me to hold off feeding my anemones.

Ive had it for a week yesterday. It ate today but I didnt feed it :( One of my emerald crabs ran right off the rock into it and down the hatch it went. So he was ready to eat. I'll feed it cut up shrimp starting wed(3/5/14) now and see what it does.

Hmm, well I guess for the price of an emerald I'd get over it knowing you have a healthy hadonni that eats!

Nice looking haddoni. I've never had any luck keeping BTA and mags long term in the same tank. Have the BTA and mags been together for a while? I've never kept haddoni and magnifica together, but heard it doesn't work very well. Curious to see what your experience with this combination yields.

Mag and bta's have been together for a year and 3 months and never a problem. I researched and talked to Trex an OrionN before adding the haddoni and they said it could be done just keep an eye on them. So far all three species seam to be doing fine. But its still early to tell sense the haddoni only been in there a little over a week.

I'll keep you updated as to how they are doing together. I eventually want to get a gigantea. But for that to happen I think something would have to go.

I think your tank reach the fully loaded point. Something got to go before something come in. You even need to prune your corals soon.

The gig will probably go in its own 55 that I'm in the process of setting up. I'm thinking early fall to make sure the tank is stable. There is still quite a bit of room in the 90 gallon tank all the rock and coral are compacted into the middle right now due to a lighting issue. I think the mag is about full size (18") maybe a few more inches and haddoni about half it full sizeits around 12" now. When the lighting issue is resolved Ill spread things back out some. Am I close on sizes?
