replaced a dead Orphek unit with a 43" Maxspect razor, seemed to be about the same lighting output/schedule, but now seeing red algae on sand substrate.
doesn't look like the "red slime" stuff
skimmer working, powerheads blasting, added more macro to refugium
any suggestions. doing big water change.
