New Logo Thread

Approved By Me also. I think it looks great. Simple and clean, yet classy.

Thanks everyone for the support. It is really appreciated.

I would just like to comment to help clarify some things. At the moment, an official logo has not been set in stone. I created a quick logo to use for the website in which I hope everybody will like. It is not the one that has been quoted in the last few posts (the revamped version of the old logo). I made a different logo that was more horizontal in length to help accommodate the header better. IMO, I think it also looks a little better.

The logo I am using for the website does not have to be the official logo, nor any I have created. In my opinion, we could change the logo every week if we wanted to, but that probably wouldn't be the best idea ;) All kidding aside, I'm trying to make the website very neutral in order to accommodate any logo changes in the future. My hope is that it will look good with any logo.

Sorry again for any confusion. Please bear with me as I finish up the site. This week has been pretty busy and I won't be able to finish up the site until the end of the week.

In the Meantime i will continue to do as I see best for the time people have to donate to a cause they get no thanks for just complaints.

/stand and clap

I wish I would have just come out and had the nerve to face it head on. Instead, I chose to withdraw and get out as fast as possible. Each position on the board is thankless in so many ways. Keep it up and perhaps we can return to the golden years.

You are Welcome and glad to see you back around again Chuck, And as one of the Former Ball Breakers you have my full apologies for any and all offenses. It looks absolutly different when the shoe is on the other foot!!!
Bill:(

Okay - I'll go back into the shadows for a few more years. Thought I would try to get more involved in the club this year but it is obvious I'm not going to "click" with the inner group.

Everything aside - I do wish the best for your wife and will continue to keep her in my prayers.

Brett

Brett I for one say stick around because having more vocal members is exactly what is needed to turn this club around. If you dont like something then say something.

As Bill just mentioned he used to be one of the "ball breakers" and always made his voice and opinions heard and so should you. No one has more "right" to say something than anyone else so speak up.

The only thing I would suggest is to make sure that your approach doesnt come off as accusing or attacking cause that wont lead anywhere. I'm not saying that you were doing any of these things but just as a general rule try to avoid these things.

We have a couple of people here that are capable of doing many things and now is the time for them to come out and offer what they can and who knows where that could lead.

My hopes are that the MTRC website kicks off and become a lot more active and in order to do that it needs media... Plain and simple. A "Gallery" section is just a lazy way to do it and I'm sure that's not what the BOD has in mind.

It's 2011 so it's time to have a website that seems like it was made sometime after 1996.... Yeah in case you havent noticed the website is one of the biggest peeves that I have had for a VERY long time...lol

I agree with Mike, Brett. Hang around. Just because you disagree with someone isn't a good reason to go back into hiding. :) I think you've got a lot valuable input that the club needs.

Brandon

Great job on the logo, I love the new look. As for people staying in the open and speaking opinions that's what the past and present BOD have always wanted. They want OUR thoughts and opinions.
