hey guys and girls
went to one of my lfs and picked up some baby maroons and no joke they're like, 1/2 inch if that. I didnt notice in the store but one of them, its nose is pushed in and dorsal fin is mis-shapped looks like it only has 4 spines and they go straight up not rounded like the other maroon kinda alien like lol. they're closed sundays and mondays so i cant even go talk to them about it until tuesday. They had 3 in and i grabbed 2 so if the other one they have in looks better i will try and take the freak back. if they wont take it back i might even cull it unfortunatly cause its pretty rough looking had it in a tank thats all black and no lighting on it and they're usually very good. It totally should have been culled. I will get some pics of them up in a bit, but how old do they have to be to start hosting? can they host a bta at any age? my friend has my wilkersons book and will have to get it back at some point...
