My Merten's is about 4"

Nice score! Can you post a picture with no actinics, flash only, to show the true color? Keep the thread updated with it's growth progress! Yours appears to be in much better shape than when I got mine. Curious, any white patches on yours right now? If so, keep an eye on them. I wonder if they disappear as it acclimates and becomes more comfortable. Mine lost all it's white. Congrats!

mine has a few white stripes around the perimeter. The pics i have are as good as they get cuz im definitely no photographer. Its your typical orange-ish/tan mertens.

What do WE need to do, beg for more pics too?? I'm no photographer, but atleast I'm willing to post what I can. Just razzin' ya. Feel free to add pics at will! Yours looks to be a pretty healthy looking specimen. I'm just interested to see the true color of it. In a prior post, I think I remember someone saying it had a shade of purple to it, I'd like to see that. Mine is plain jane brown with orange/yellow/I'm not sure what color it is. In person, mine has got a kind of cool translucent look to it. In pictures, mine looks drab.

How long did it take for yours to get extended tentacles ? Do you think more flow or less helped extend them ???
