New naokoae and bathyphilus

roseafascia and scott's have been banished. I simply could not deal with their aggressiveness. I even use social acclimation and the roseafascia tried to break the breeders cup to attempt killing the new arrival. Jeez.

My lfs got a bathyphilus in yesterday right at about 2.5" and sold for 250 within an hour of arrival. Definately a georgeous wrasse. And lemon that is a hell of a collection

yes naokoae is aggressive too. mine is new so it's not reared it's ugly head yet.

bathyphilus in my country is about 150 US but it's so rare here.

Mine goes through moments of aggression, flashing and chasing the other wrasses around. Georgous fish, one of my favorites.

yes well, you should be :)

not many roseafascia keepers in my country. i'm the only one.

one roseafascia in the entire Singapore. in my tank. killing my other fish.

so your photos as well as others from this forum helps keep me and my friends sane :) hehe

My Rosy decided to go bananas..........and i decided to go :blown:topless

I would like a stock list as well and a FTS, seems like you are adding something new everyweek

hi jaa, i don't add fish everyweek. i just update every week with what i have added throughout the months.

i don't have a FTS, but i have a FT video. here it is.

not everyfish is shown. the bathyphilus and naokoae are not in the video.

anyway the tank looks a bit different now. will update in future :)

Here was mine before he just diapeared one day in my tank.

very nice. i noticed the blackish colouration on your nahackyi and condei.

my naokoae has this too. after awhile, the red will be marred with this black colouration. not sure why.

Now for my other wrasse residents :)

African mccosker flasher.

red anal fin variant.

i have two of them, both small, 5 and 6cm respectively. they don't fight, just flash at each other.

and got this lovely rubricaudalis flasher awhile ago, one of my favourites. but i'm still hoping to chance upon attenuatus or octotaenia. both are ridiculously rare here. never came in before for the octotaenia, and attenuatus only once, many years ago! :(

And i recently traded in my Vanuatuan exquisite wrasse..

.. for the Kenyan Exquisite. I can't have both.... but i love both variants just as much. But figured time for something new.

envious?

well, some fish in my country easier to obtain, but there's many that we don't get.

Like attenuatus flasher, octotaenia flasher, johnson's fairy wrasse etc.

lol...in my country keeping marine fishes is prohibited..though we manage somehow...:uzi: ... yours is a heaven...
if i ever make it to singapore,i will try to see your collections...

that's not good. but good that you manage! rules were made to be broken no?

if you do come to Singapore do let me know. It will be a pleasure to have someone over to enjoy this hobby with me.

Very nice Lemon. I'm expecting a bathyphilus next week sometime. Excited to have one once again. I just hope he doesn't harass my attenuatus like I have heard rumors of them doing.
I believe my flasher will be larger than the hooded though. He has grown quite a bit since I got him . He has to be close to 3 1/2 inches.
