New naokoae and bathyphilus

Great video Lemon.
Your tank looks stunning, not FOWLR at all. It makes me want to start over. LOL
I miss those early days when it was so much fun watching your little ocean grow.
I love the open look of your aquascaping also. But you already know that my favorite part of all ,are your fish. Just fantastic.

thanks. my old 3ft tank was completely scaped and done but i grew bored of it and wanted an upgrade.

so my new tank now, and it's fun watching things progress.

yes the fish are nice and healthy. i love the vanderbilt chromis.

this is the female of the Kwazulu fairy wrasse.

an undescribed member of the "rubriventralis-complex" from africa.

pectoral fin is badly injured in this one but has not impaired swimming at all.

i'll keep them in this floating box until they are more or less fully recovered. the pectoral fin will not heal 100% but as much as it could then that's fine enough for me.

Hi Lemon, Thought you might want to see the new guy. Came in this morning and is being checked out by all the fishies.:wavehand:

how's the bathyphilus getting along with the others in your tank?

Surprisingly well!
I thought he would be very shy and intimidated by my other wrasses, but he gets right in there when it's feeding time and pulls his own wait with the big boys.

bradley, ready to have your jaw dropped again?

Males from both Efate and Tana islands of Vanuatu are shipped in today. Cirrhilabrus bathyphilus.

one of them is obscenely large!

i like this.

the black on the dorsal fin is so unique for hooded. never have i seen one with so much black on the finnage.

Holy crap! :spin2::eek2::inlove::hmm5: That's a lot of gorgeous fish!

Where are you located LemonLemon? I need to go to that LFS. lol

thanks.

not my photo. this was taken by my friend.

I'm in Singapore.

In page 3, you can see more wrasses. like the truckload of lineatus.

thanks CeeGee.

fish are cheap in my country but some fish we just never get to see.

like Cirrhilabrus aurantidorsalis. It's a cheap and common Indonesia fish but they NEVER appear in Singapore!

we also never get the rusty x flame angel hybrid. even though it's a Cebuan fish.

anyway i hope i'm not going off topic but this beauty came in today and i just had to share.

i love this fish.

C. tinkeri.
