New ORA Release

ORA BOREALIS ACROPORA

This new release is named after the spectacular phenomenon, known as Aurora Borealis. It’s unique coloration morphs from a lime green base to electric blue tips. The ORA Borealis truly stands out even among our most colorful corals.

The polyps are expansive and range from green to yellow under varied lighting conditions. The growth pattern is also quite unique; it tends to grow many short branches in tight form with lots of polyps which gives it a bushy appearance. The bright blue and green base cuts through the polyps giving it an electric glow that really sets this coral apart from other types of blue and green acropora available.

Strong intermittent current and high output lighting are suggested to maintain natural growth, good polyp extension and dazzling color.

sorry i got no pic :(

Sounds similar to one I have that has the green yellow base out into purple tips...I believe mine is a tort but its growth pattern says something different. I look forward to seeing some pics of this new ORA piece soon.

Sick...........It's like a drug dealer making a new, more potent drug and then advertising it to their addicts!

We are doomed!

My LFS told me earlier in the week to come in, that he had the new, as of yet unnamed, new release due in today (Thurs.).
So they should start showing up at your LFS that stocks ORA.

Don't have it.............yet!

But the LFS we frequent told me he had confirmation he was getting two, one was on hold for you. So you'll probably have it before me.

So post up a pic.:D

If ORA would allow LFS to purchase their corals w/out buying $300 worth of fish first.........We could all have access to these sweet pieces. Many LFS's simply cannot afford this burden and do not get many from them. I have to drive 60 miles to the only LFS in my area to get them. And he can't afford the $300 add on to be allowed the frags too terribly often. It is ridiculous!

So ORA........cut these guys some slack. Not everybody can move that many fish that often. However they can move the corals. It's almost blackmail. I would imagine most out there don't know that this is the case. And wonder why their LFS don't carry ORA corals!
