cato: Congrats on getting yours in. I am glad to see there are a few others that do like this one. Let me know when that German green grows out, I would love to pick up a frag!

You got it. :)

Looks nice, the pictures look like the lighting is heavy on the actinic side, do you have any other lights running in that picture?

That pic looks good. Now if it will only keep the electric green. If it does it will rock.

Cato.......Did you get the german blue polyp from ORA? Do they still sell it?

Agreed. It is under a 250 Radium only. :)

As for the German Blue polyp, it is true ORA stock from one of my LFS guys. I'm not sure how long he's had it but here is the frag he sold me of it. I too heard ORA lost the parent colony. Bummer. :( Another one of my favs. :D

Well then let's see what impresses you, show us some pics of your corals ;)

I like the last few releases a lot but I still think the Pearlberry is my fav.

Also the Verde is VERY underrated IMO:smokin:

Pearlberry is my fav as well, followed closely by the Hawkins and Purple Plasma. I've got the Verde, but don't just love it compared to the others. I just haven't found the right light or placement for it yet.

I feel the total opposite. Not real impressed with the overall colors compared to these latest releases. JMO

It looks like I gotta get my Red Planet, Bellina, and MAYBE the Borealis. Im still not sold on it, though theres no doubt its a very pretty piece. It looks similar to the Bellina, and if Im going to buy one, Im going to grow it out for a bit, and I dont want 2 pieces that look very similar, ya know?

I gotta make some room though, then Ill make sure theyre all nice and happy before I spend $70 a pop on them (the local price).

I have one question, I hate kicking a dead horse. Someone said selling the clowns for bare price to move them. Whats your LFS's prices like? Mine sells em for $18.99, yet it seems like theyre always attacking each other and in bad condition because of that

The Verde..................Here's mine:

Looks completly different then the ones I have. They are Green with a Red/purple tips and yellow polyps.

I was sold this as a Verde. Post some pics of yours. I'd like to compare the two. This is definitely an ORA coral. Does yours have the same branching structure?

Actually after doing a search for photos, this is the verde for sure.

My LFS had a Verde frag that was kinda branching. It was about 1" across and 2" tall, very compact branches, not too much polyp extension. It was a blue/green color all around (I dont remember there being anything different on the tips) and I cant recall the polyp color. HTH since I dont have a pic for ya :bum:

i have seen maybe 100 verde frags and they all looked like the picture shown.

looks a lot like the upscales yellow and blue tenuis - a coral that was pretty common here in the bay area about 6 years ago.
Nonetheless, its a wonderful piece with great colors - I know many people think its the nicest piece in a tank when they see it.
