New Perc's (pics) don't like different anemones

PERC's HAVE PAIRED UP IT SEEMS

PERC's HAVE PAIRED UP IT SEEMS

Having separated and isolating the marginally smaller perc over night, I released him back into the anemone (light's off) this morning, some initial squabbling and lip locking took place but after 10 minutes they settled down.

Now they are getting on just fine. They are strange creatures. Hopefully my efforts will pay off and will have a clutch of eggs when they get bigger.

Right now their sizes are 1 1/2"or 3cm, the slightly larger one has deeper colouration and more rotund. They are wild caught PNG "True Black" percula - pic from this morning attached.

Thanks for your comments.

...
Keep us updated. In a month or two they will likely become just orange and white percula.

As expected, My Mag started walking last night and it's tentacles were partially going into my overflow flow chamber (Red Sea Reefer 350), so I had to improvise and attached some fish netting with zip ties...I will look at this again and perhaps glue black plastic mesh instead, as netting will more than likely clog up after a while and also install DIY guards on my wave makers. SEE ATTACHED PIC.

Unless you place the mag on an isolated rock pile where it's tentacles can't touch any higher ground it will walk around - no other way to stop it.
That's another reason why I prefer gigs, they hardly ever move, at least that's the case with mine.

That's exactly what I did. Had that leftmost piece made specifically for a mag.
