Haha...my tank isn't so "easy"....

I need to do a nitrate test today but have had no noticeable bacteria blooms and everything looks the same to me. I'm up to 2.5ml.

I ordered a bottle of AZNO3 that should arrive on Monday. i'm going for one more week of vodka dosing and if I don't see any change I'm switching to AZNO3.

I wonder what's a good mixer with it? OJ? Cranberry Juice?
 
hahaha, no it doesn't sound easy.
I hope the additional week of vodka dosing works well for you, so you won't have to bother with the nitrate remover. *crossing fingers*

speargunhunter-- I'm not sure if I have any sopranos. What do they look like?

Reeferon: I run 2 X 150W MH and 2 X 130W dual actinic PCs. The MH bulbs are currently a 12K Reeflux over the SPS side and a 20K Ushio over the softies. Some of the pics earlier in this thread had a 14K Phoenix over the softies.
 
seapug I don't know if you ever mentioned anything about fragging. But would you be interested in selling a couple of those yellow zoa's on the right side of your tank? They are beautiful.
 
I'm not really confident enough to get into the whole shipping thing....

I appreciate your compliments and interest, but we need to avoid talking about selling in this forum....against RC policy.

I really do love your tank though man. Zoa gardens are so nice. I found a site selling a 20 pack of zoa frags (4-8 polyps per frag) for $99. I think I'm going to get that in a few weeks.
 
no worries....

that frag pack sounds like a pretty good deal. most of mine are random finds, so seek and you will find! That's part of the fun for me.
 
How're the nitrates this weekend Seapug? Any reduction?
Do you have a dsb? Maybe that's why the vodka dosing was being a bit stubborn.
 
Interesting. I didn't know that about the Ushios.
I also wasn't aware you had vho? Have you always had vho bulbs?

How're your nitrates doing?
