New Sony SLT-A99V

OK I splurged... I have had film cameras for years, upgraded many years ago to digital. Got a few different ones over the years.

I just got the SLT-A99V from sony. It is 24 MP.

Here are a few shots. The orig are 6,000x3,300 px. google images shrinks the link to 800 though.

Ill clean the glass and take some more later.

Thoughts? Straight out of the box, no tuning yet.

Looks like you are having fun with the new camera! Keep at it! Best part of digital versus film is you can practice all day long until you get comfy with all the features of your system.

There are 6 of them. They are really happy. The Cinnamon's(2x) are real mad that the OC's(4x) took the Ritteri...

Yeah me neither.... The problem is google reduces the pix.. Imagine that clown at 6000x3300 resolution, compared to 800... argh... LOL...

OK.. SO.. I need to get WB for dummies on a a99. LOL...

I played with it a bit tonight and I went from one extreme to the other.

I am uploading them now.

I have heard that there is white card thing they use to balance the WB. I am not an expert but I do remember reading it somewhere on the forum.

Yeah I know that.. but when my actnics are on I want to get that picture that POPS.... that is what I am wondering.

if you look at the frogspawn you will see once picture that has white sand... That was playing with the WB with the actnics on.
