New lens should be here soon for some MACRO shots.

Use a program such as Adobe Lightroom or Picasa and adjust it in post processing.

So far so good wait till u get that macro it makes a world of difference when it comes to sharpness and clarity. Off topic but it looks like u need to address the hair algae problem u got going on on your rocks there. Change your preset white balance settings such as indoor flash or cloudy when shooting with actinics. Otherwise shoot in raw and post process correct

Yeah I do both raw and jpg currently. I took the WB from one extreme to the other in those few pics of the frogspawn.

The one with the anemone in the background and frag rack in foreground was playing with aperture

Sweet it looks 100 times better is that tank new not much coralline algae. I saw another shot u did of a lunar rainbow by a waterfall so I don't think you'll be needing too much help lol once your macro gets here post away can't wait

I upgraded my 120 to a 180. Moved all the rock and livestock.

Had added 100lb of new rock so I had to let it cycle and everything. Then, after cycle, I moved it all over. During cycle, I took some existing rock to seed the cycling rock. I also seeded from my sand.

The seed rock had some gha on it. Since it was in cycle it really took off with all the phospates and all that were caused from the cycle. Once it started it was too late...

So I let it grow out. I moved the rest of the rock over and into the sump. Of course the fish too.

I did not want to do lights out right after everything was moved with the stress and all. So I waited until last week and did my lights out.

Everything is a lot happier now. (as I put away the cattle prod when I made them all wave in the parade) hahahaha...

I am now just starting to get some coraline starting to attach to the new rock.

It is an upgrade that went through cycle and was seeded/filled with the contents of the previous tank. It is a 'house move' with addition of a few square feet.

LOL...
