I recently traded a local reefer a nice zoa pack for this sps pack. I got cotton candy milli, ora red planet, ultimate efflo, red robin acro, jason fox violet orange monti, jedi mind trick monti, saynjays purple stylo, and pink lemonade. Each frag is approx 1". I just got the one week ago so they are still settling in and coloring up but once they have all regained color ill post some pics up. Some have nice color already so I will put those pics up in the next hour. If anyone has frags or colonies of these Id love to see em as Ive never owned any of these corals and am dying to see em grown in by some of you guys. The pink lemonade and cotton candy milli are two of my all time favorites so im super excited about them. Pics to follow shortly but in the mean time please share yours!!!

Here are the pics as promised. Not pictured is jf violet orange monti and jedi mind trick because they arent doing so great so I didnt want to disturb them. I also forgot about the beckers tort. Most of the corals have ALOT of coloring up to do so I think ill use this thread as a journal of their progress. Ill try to put up weekly- by weekly shots of them so everyone can see how they come along. Here they are as of tonight. Yea, actually I have a 125 sps dom mixed reef. These were just my most recent additions and I wanted to share but certainly not my first, or my 20th for that matter lol! I was bitten by the sps bug about a year or more ago and its gotten a little outta control!! I love em! Im getting an oregon tort frag from a GREAT local reefer actually a member here on RC as soon as I have a free day to take a little rd trip. Its my all time favorite and ive been searching for one for at least a year. Once I get that I will be content.... Well at least for a little while lol.

Thanks travis. Im concerned about the beckers tort a little. I have yet to see the slightest polyp extension. Literally zero polyps have shown from that piece and they are so sucked into the coral it coralires appear hollow! Also the color on it is very peculiar. Im sure its just from fragging and the hour and half transport and itll color up just fine. Everything else pictured is doing great though. Ill get some pics up of the jedi mind trick and jf violet orange monti soon but they are in a shaded area at the moment due to some minor bleaching

Very unfortunate events have transpired since my last post. I began noticing what I thought was some bleaching on a few of the pieces a few days ago. That bleaching turned out to be stn. Since that day, every piece that I listed has shed a significant amount of tissue. The tissue is literally falling off the skeleton. The only corals that are affected by this are the new one. Not a single colony or frag that I had in the tank prior to getting these are showing any signs. In fact they all appear healthy as they can be. I have never dealt with this in the past and Im at a total loss as to what I should do. If I dont act soon every one of the new pieces will be dead within the week. Any suggestions and help is welcomed and appreciated. Im a little heart broken by this unfortunate turn of events

Sorry to hear of your troubles mate :(
Well it's only been a week you've had them so considering you have them low it's likely not a light issue. If all your other SPS are still happy campers then it's not a sudden parameter spike ie alk. When all things are considered i think it might be newly cut frags being stressed even further by a sudden alk change from tank to tank. Do you know what the alk was from the water they were in and if so how diff were your readings. Is the one frag that looks well encrusted doing better than the others or is it also losing flesh.
I'm only suggesting the alk as from everything you've said not many other things would make sense. If it's not along the lines of what i suggested im stumped for what else would just be affecting the new frags only. Good luck with the battle mate :)

I'd bet that there was a significant difference in water parameters between your tank and the tank from which the frags originated. Even slow acclimation might not have helped. Been there and it really bites.

that happened to me also, now i make sure i stick to the same light/parameters as my tank before i buy corals.
