Hey guys , I was really getting concerned about this guy! It hadn't eaten in a week.
Just starting eating Mysis shrimp but would like to see it graze some more on the LR.
The blennie has finally got over it's shyness and has become quite active.

Maybe I will !
Mine love Romaine Lettuce. He goes up to it and tears the lettuce off like he is a shark going after a dead carcass.
Mine follows me around the tank and when he does the "shark" thing, I am not near the tank. He behaves much differently when I am close to the tank and only does this when I am 5+ feet away.

This guy is finally eating anything offered. I noticed he is pooping out a lot of sand is this normal?

I was asking the same question about a week ago. I call it his magic fairy dust lol. Its wierd looking to say the least lol

The really odd thing is I have only seen it crap out sand ! Of coarse, the snow white sand is hard to miss.
It is odd to me too. I originally thought he was just kicking up sand until I really watched
Should be kicking out tan to light brown crap.... How much LR do you have? Do you have enough algae to support it? Pooping white sand that looks like your sand bed doesn't sound like it might be getting enough "vegi's" in their diet.
I'm no expert by any means but I do know that the poop coming out of mine isn't the same color as my sand bed either.
