New Start With Ritteri

after the missin first and then the sliced up second and then the turn-to-be-a-malu third, I've kicked off a new start with the ritter.

It is not as colorful as those replacements but seems like it's so far the healthiest one

It'd lost half of tentecles in the LFS but then stayed there for a month, regrowin some back. Now it's stayed put for 2 days, no circle of deflation and inflation. But it shrinks at night--not deflated but downsized. Then the mouth opens wide in the morning the smaller--still opens to some point in the afternoon and at night.

Hopefully it survives. The clowns killed my elegance coral and jumped into the ritter immediately.

Any news? Mine flaked out on thursday BAD. I came home to what I can only describe as a Dr. Seuss omelette. Turns out my alk was 7, pH was 7.6, and my salinity was 1.022! Amazingly, it has gotten a bit better over the weekend, and I've almost got all the levels back to normal. I hope yours has been doing better than mine.

my tank is sufferin a bad outbreak of dinos, which i'm still fightin against.

Here r some pix of updates

I very badly desired to get a cinnamon for the rtba but was disuaded by friends here, tellin me the tank is sure too small for two species of clowns.

So I'm thinkin about to get a porcelain crab instead.

Actually I have a very gorgeous malu, which was purchased as a ritteri, in the tank. But it moved itself to the backside of the rockwork. So it's kinda pitiful that I can't take a pic of it.

i've started dosing hydrogen peroxide now

the ritteri is reacting to it to some point that its mouth opens wider but that it doesnt deflate

i'm keeping my eyes on it

the dinos seems to weaken a little bit after 3 days' treatment

Make sure your not doing any water changes or skimming too heavily, dino's growth is accelerated when fresh saltwater is added to yor tank. Also try and keep your ph elevated by dripping kalkwasser to help fight off the algae. Good luck!
