New tang messing with Potters angel.

So last night I added an Indian Gold Ring Bristletooth. I rearranged the entire reef and put him in after the light was off. I come home today and the potters has what looks an injury right around the right gill. He also has a small nip on the back fin. I havent seen the tang attack him but he definitely doesnt like the angel being on a certain side of the tank. Immediately chases the angel. I had not seen the angel last night after moving the rocks so im not sure that it didnt happen during the renovation. Do these tiffs usually happen between tang and angels? Is it possible that he will chill out after a day or so?

So the tang is attacking the angel. Hitting him on the same spot of the gill every time. Looks like im breaking a reef down 2 nights in a row

How big is your tank? Sounds like it may be a function of crowding. Personally, I have never had my Tangs and Angels mixing it up.

75 gallon. Other inhabitants are a mandarin and a valentini puffer. turned the light off and it seemed to calm things down. A couple of times the potters kept going around the tang and was just taking it

Get the tang out or put into a acclimation box. Potters are finicky enough with no aggressive tank mates

Ill have to try and get him out tonighy I guess. I was hoping that it may calm down after a day or so. Does that ever happen or will je just continue to pick at the angel till he dies?

Update:
Came home tonight late from work and the tang is dead. He has looked extremely happy, healthy and eating like a horse since being put in the DT on Sunday. My GF said he was swimming and eating when she left at one. By the time I got home at 9 (13 hour freaking day) he was on the bottom covered in hermit crabs. I have no clue what happened.
