If I were you, I'd go out and buy a small nano tank and hook it up with your sump. Set it up and start your reef. Then, when you move, set up your 40 at your new place. Bring over your sump and put a powerhead in the nano. Then move your corals. It will make your move easy, and you will have something to look at now. Also should be the safest way to transfer the corals.
