Found this in a bucket my daughter brought home from the jersey shore. Its a toff bugger as it was in the bucket of sand shells and sea water for a week plus.
Thought it was a snail but looks like a clam on the half shell, Limpet? Guessing now.

Vary good to have I try vary hard to have a large breeding population of pod's in my tank.if you can successfully keep a sustainable amount of these guys. You can get some really awesome fish.keep up the good work and good luck

Amphipods, I assumed but could not find picts of ones so dark colored. They Surprised the hell out of me, wasn't expecting anything squiggly in the filter mesh. LOL
I keep finding new life in this micro nano tank.
Waiting to put the bigger tank in play.

Worm

Worm

Apparent bristle worm reaching out as I feed my Duncan some brine shrimp.

Magic question... good or bad, keep or flush.

I found him in my side hang refug a while ago, I guess he passed into the tank.

I was less worried before he moved.

My amphipods love the small chunk of live rock I have in refug, breeding good it seems. Using Chaeto and a lil Gracilaria

I read conflicking things about them, I guess cause they are creepy looking. The thing reached out of my live rock reminded me of the octopus from the Popeye movie, lol. I feel any new creature that won't cause issues and I like the idea of a variety. Thanks.

Thing about bristleworms is --- if you have 'too many,' this is the very tank that shouldn't get rid of them. They reproduce according to the food supply, so if you're seeing too many bristleworms, your tank has too much nutrient---take them out, and that nutrient overload can bring your system to a really bad place. What you need to do is clean up the water and get the nutrient down and the population will die back. This is true of many 'blooms' of weird stuff.

Yeah, I found 2 under a piece of rock, I decided to ditch them.
Found a Nudibranch, ditched him also.

Bye bye

Bye bye

Dearly departed so are we.

The nudi, yes dump him. The bristle worms, good guys and should never be taken out of the tank. Yes I know their ugly and scary, but they are a great part of your CUC. As sk8r posted:
