So... Ive had my 65gal tank now for a little over 5 years. Same inhabitants, same corals, same salt mix, same maintenance routine (you get the point).

Kept it simple:

- No skimmer
- No sump/refugium
- No RO/DI water
- Use tap water
- 10 gal water change every 3-4 weeks
- No dosing of anything EVER
- No quarantine

I know, I know... How? Why? What?

yeah.

Not overly unusual when keeping a softy tank, they prefer a higher nutrient water and have little reliance on ALK and CA.

Looks very nice!

Yep... certainly something possible with a softy tank..
Looks great!!

Now if only most softies weren't just pink/yellow so those tanks could be a bit more color diverse..
