New Video

It might be hard to tell in the pictures but the corals are growing on a framework of rock and dead coral. The coral forms a facade over the entire reef and the fish can swim thoughout the reef. They seldom go more then two or three inchs from the top of the reef even in the places where there is open water, The swim through the coral and tend to cut the corners as close as they can. The stag in the middle is almost three feet across now. Many of the corals in these images reach all the way to the bottom of the tank and they were all grown from frags or very small colonies.

Absolutely awesome video and tank. Such a mature well developed reef. Wonderful!

A very nice established tank. I bet this looks awesome in person. I have seen many tanks that look OK on camera, but in person mature tanks just look amazing. There is so much to see, so many corals etc etc.

Yes, All of the large angels were placed together about 6 years ago as juveniles in my old 180 gallon display. The golden angel was added about two years ago and the regal about two weeks ago. The emperator was in full juvenile colors when i got him and has changed in the tank. if you search my old posts you can see pictures of this tank with the juvenile Emperator angel in it when it was first set up 5 years ago. There are also some more videos posted on you tube showing some older images and some of the hardware. Thank you for the kind remarks. The tank really does look better in person. The images dont convey the size of the display and the animals. The Emperator angel is over an inch thick and you can hear him grunt in the next room.

Thanks for the video. Me and my 15 month old enjoy watching your videos...keep up the good work.
