For tank circulation I have 4 Sequence Sting Rays and an Iwaki 100 RLT. Along with the 4-way I am also using 3 1.5" Hayward actuating ball valves. There will be over 60x turnover in the display. The other pumps pictured are for the skimmer, calcium reactor, Rowa reactor, and clam tank.

I am going invest heavily in any company that makes epoxy.

Judging by the amount Travis is going to need to buy to hold his frags in place I should be retiring sooner than I thought :)

Great Setup's

How are you guys cutting all these holes in your tanks?

Chris

You can use a hole saw with the recommended size for the bulkhead. Pretty easy to drill an acrylic tank. For glass you will need a diamond drill bit. Personally, I prefer to have the builder drill my tank.

Ok after seeing this I had to post. I found another reason to buy an oceans motion, hours of entertainment for you and your fish! A couple of days ago my wife starts yelling " he went in there he went in there!" So of course I reply "who went in where who went in where?" Turns out my bicolor blenny went into one of the 1.5" water ports attatched to my oceans motion. I though, well it cant go very far... then the fish came swimming out pretty fast as the water started to flow from that port. I figured, ok its just curious, it learned its lesson, alls well. Well today I was looking at my tank when I noticed movement in the same bottom port. This time its my lawnmower belly (half belly, half attitude!) When it noticed I was looking at it curled up in the exhaust port cleaning, it took an offensive stand and decided to have a staring contest with me. Because I knew what was coming I started lauging as I backed up and tried to grab my camera. Not being quick enough I saw the fish starting to shake as the water started to flow (from an ampmaster) and then swim for dear life as it was trying to stand its grownd. Then woosh! A flying lawnmower all the way across the 120! I was lauging so hard tears were coming to my eyes and the lawnmower look embarrased which made me laugh even harder. I went out side to have a smoke and was telling my wife about the fish when I looked in and I saw the bicolor swim right in the port again, then come flying out. Then swim back in, then come flying out. I couldnt believe it, the oceans motion has turned into a game for the fish. Then just when I thought I saw it all, one of my ocelleris clowns start watching the blenny play and decided to join in the fun. Right at the bicolor came zipping out of the port at amazing speed, the clown (not quite matching the speed but close) came out of a hiding hole and basically tackled the blenny. So of course I start lauging all over agin and my wife who missed the game thought I had just gone mad. owell nothing new with that...

David P - LOL that is pretty funny! neat how they make a game out of it

i know my female clown ALWAYS "gives her hell" when the back right port kicks on w/ another and she plays up in the top right of the tank..fun to watch as i am sure i makes them happy :D

i would love to get ANOTHER ONE and add it to another pump...these things are THE BEST!
