New Wrasse

Added a new wrasse to my little reef. He will go in my new tank when its dont cycling. has a grazy orange stripe on top fin.

Nice cake and wrasse! The six line is one of my favorites but they can be buttheads to small fish so one did not make my stocklist. Happy B-Day. Care if I share a picture of the new wrasse I got today?

nice fish, one of my favs. He'll be fine in there, i've had a few wrasses, never did anything to the other fish in my tank, even if he was the first one in. Only issue i've had is with this last one, he keeps leaping! he's been living in my overflow for about a month cuz i had to fish him out 3 times...

Please put that 6 line wrasse in last. This is coming from somebody who has had 3 of them. Don't worry I didn't kill the first 2, they jumped before I put the canopy on my old tank. My current 6 line is a jerk but he's put in his place by the sunset dottyback and my goby. I did lose a fish to him the first week he was in the tank so be careful. Either way, great fish, awesome rock work swimmers.

I love them 6 line wrasse they have some good persoality.. my first one jumped out the tank lol.... was being bulled by a hawk fish.

I will echo the sentiment that sixlines are jumpers. I lost my first one that way several years ago and learned the importance of keeping aquariums covered.

The biggest issue I've had is that the past two specimens that I acquired from Pets Inc (months apart) would always come down with ich in the first week of quarantine. Could never figure that one out, but I guess I was the common denominator.

My current one was actually given to me by a frequent customer who bought his from Petco a few months ago. I've had it for a few days so far, and all looks well.
