I know about those highly reflective domes1 My other half has had that for more years than I wish to count. As a matter of fact, the 30th of this month we will have our 35th anniversary....where does time go?!

Well anyway, I just wanted to let you, Paul, etc. know that I am back. I didn't go anywhere, just my laptop. A PVC fitting decided to leak and of course my laptop was on the floor! Now I'll be trying to catch up on all the newbie posts I missed...I'm sure Cap' you will further my education :-) Have a nice Thanksgiving!

Husband is a Chem E specializing in water treatment-He does not get it!!!

I'm wondering what acceptable numbers are coming out of my RO? Husband gave me a TDS monitor, I'm very excited aobut this but wondering what it is telling me.

Teri, thank God you are back, I was beside myself. A few minutes ago I was standing two feet to the left but now I am next to that spot.

I am not bald, I just have more face than I used to. :crazy1:

Whew-ee! Look at how "buff" you were! That hair is just...well....

Today is your day, Paul. Besides my husband, family members and others I know, I too thought of you and the sacrifices you made for our Country and our Freedom. Rest assured your Service and all those who have fallen will not be forgotten as long as I live and breathe. I HONOR YOU and THANK YOU!!

Well Thank you Terri

We just came back from our "free" Veteran's dinner at Applebees, (which cost us about $100.00)
Anyway we met a WW2 Vet who was 93. There was an hour and a half wait to get in with all the Vets. We invited this guy to eat with us because he was alone. Not a bit of senility, sharp as a tack. He does not wear glasses and he drove himself there. He was stationed in the south Pacific. Really interesting guy, we exchanged war stories and I think he had a really good time. He said he is dating a 60 year old and he takes her dancing.
It was a really good night to be with all the Vets many from WW2 and Korea.

Welcome back Terri Ann

Where is the water keeper. I feel like we are carrying out his legacy here

Hey check out my tank, and ideas on some nice easy corals let me know!

Looking for any advice or knowledge willing to be passed on!

I've been in the fish hobby for about 10 years, starting with tropical fish and betas. Not so much luck with marine when I was younger, but now (almost 20) my tanks and knowledge are coming together.

You left a $100 tip Paul?! :-) That Vet will remember your time shared...so glad you had a nice time :-)

Now I can put a face to you Cap! Thanks!! :-) You look like you should still be teaching...you're a young'un! :-) I can't get that picture thing down on RC but I am on FaceBook...in my pics, my most recent is when I'm in the yellow shirt. Landt if you get my drift :-)

I have NO IDEA WHERE WaterKeeper is?! Maybe that Ohio mental institution has him juiced up TOO much! :-0 I haven't spent a lot of money since he's been silent so maybe it's a good thing that he's taken a break!! In all seriousness, I hope he is OKAY!

Not exactly, they have a free very limited menu so the appetizers, salads, drinks, coffee and desert is not free.
Those Long Island Ice Tea's are not cheap and that old Vet could eat some deserts for a skinny guy :D

Hey all,
Well my 72 gal whent down 2 months ago during a move in the middle of the night. I gave all my coral and fish away. I kept most of my rock it's not live anymore but its really nice fiji rock. So I got a used 29 gal bio cube from friend. He gave me all his coral "softies" shrimp, live rock and a yellow tang. Last night out from under a rock came a 13in snowflake eel. I called my buddy and he got a live rock from LFS a week before but not a eel. Question how do i get hime out with out hurting him, cause he's nocking my hmmer coral all over the place. Thanks

When the eel crawls back in the rock--remove the rock and it to a smaller tank
