New tank set-up

New tank set-up

I just got into this about 2 1/2 months ago. I now have a 90 gallon reef and fish tank any suggestions as to how to keep the water levels correct? I just added the Koralia 4 powerhead to increase the flow in the tank to help keep the red slime algae away that is in the picture below.

Here is everything that I have so far:
Nova Extreme Light (6 bulbs) 48" 324 total watts (3-54 watt 10,000°K 3-54 watt 460 nm actinic)
Turbo Twist 18 Watt UV Sterilizer
Coralife 125 Super Skimmer
Current Prime Chiller
Hydor Koralia 3 850gph Powerhead (2)
Hydor Koralia 4 1200gph Powerhead

80 pounds of rock
1 Green Ricordea Coral
1 Orange Ricordea Coral
Polyp Coral
Star Polyp Coral
Pink Long Tentacle Plate Coral
Green Long Tentacle Anemone
22 blue leg hermit crabs
3 brown leg hermit crabs
4 Mexican red leg hermit crabs
12 nassarius snails
1 Emerald Mithrax Crab
9 Peppermint Shrimp
1 skunk cleaner shrimp
1 Diamond Goby
1 Six Line Wrasse
1 Algae Blenny
1 Sailfin Tang
1 Blue Tang
1 Yellow Tang
2 Oceallaris Clown
1 Royal Gramma

wow--in two and a half months---you might be going a little too quickly here

the tangs you have ---the sailfin and the blue will out grow the 90 gal in about a year

are you monitoring the ammonia and nitrates still?

Thats for drinking I think.

Anyway I think you should save some money on fish and buy some more rock, about another 80lbs.
Have a great day.

First I have to say tha this is truely an amzing forum, ive been doin some crusin around to see whats what and damn, you guys got it goin on, Now to my situation, first off my name is ken, and i've been keeping fish for quite some time now, mainly frshwater aggressives, as an active member on a couple other forums, I have ben met with great animosity for wanting to go salt. I just picked up an Oceanic 144GL half round with stand and canopy, and i need your guys help. What Im looking to do is set up a fish only withlive rock, and i could use any suggestions, well as far as evrything goes, substrate, lighting, type of sump and so on. I have had salt water tanks before, a long time ago, undergravel filter, sub par lighting and so on, from what i see on this forum, things have come a long, long way and I've been outta the loop for some time now. Anyway thanks you in advance for any info or advice given.

I diden't get any feedback from you so I stopped feeding my fish, the water all dried up and everything croaked. I now put turtles in my tank

thanks for the links h20keeper, ill try and post up some pics this weekend of the tank im gonna be seeting up, also i was wondering if you had any links you could point me to for diy salt water sumps, ive made several for fresh, but from what ive seen, there are different requirements for a salt h20 sump, thanks again in easing my evolution into keping salt water fish
