Hi everyone. This is my first post. I have been using a R.O. only APEC ROES75 system in my tank. TDS reads about 25 and is causing lots GHA to grow. My LFS said there was a DI filter I can attach to my R.O. system. Where can I purchase these DI filter attachments? Do I need anything else other than the filter? Please help. thanks

so I went with the dual DI canister. figured the dual canister will most likely bring down my tds to 0 from 25. thanks for your help. Hoping this will end my GHA issue once and for all.

What's your TDS off the tap? You've either got a really really scary high number off the tap or your membrane is leaking. 25 is quite high coming off the membrane.

My tap water reads at around 180. It's a 6 stage system with a calcium mineral filter.

David is right. With the feed water TDS of 180ppm, that means the rejection is only about 86%.

DI needs added, but I would look into the membrane, feed pressure, other filters while you're at it. Your resin will be exausted quickly otherwise

Was thinking the same. I was thinking somewhere in the single digits would be normal but was also thinking the calcium mineral filter might have been the reason why it was reading in the 20's. Again new to this so I'll research to see if this is normal for this system. thanks for the info.
