Fish?
Charles Spencer Yaeger was born on Wednesday, November 14th, 2007 at 11:43am. He was 8.1lbs. and 20inches long. He likes to take long walks on the beach and loves reef aquaria. It's amazing how much you can love someone!!! He was born with a small amount of jaundice which is very common in newborns. The Blue wavelength in nanural sunlight (full spectrum light) can chemically break the Biliruben (yellow collor) down into something that the liver can process. I told my wife (who has NO INterest in my reef) that the MH lights are full spectrum and have 14k bulbs which have very good blue wavelength. I told her that we can sit with him by the tank so that he can absorb the light. I think she now has a use and appreciation for my reef!!

hehe....chuck yaeger, nice touch

Thanks. My nick name is Chuck at work. We have SO many Mikes already.

congrats! The second picture is one he will cherish for many, many years!

I enthusiastically told my wife the light thing too, she just rolled her eyes.

Good for you. Congradulations. My son had some billyrubin when he was born 25 years ago,it scared us. I didn't have a reef then.

Congrats! Hopefully he's letting you get some sleep. If not, you'll be able to start catching up on your sleep in about 5 years!

And also, it's a lot of fun to watch them enjoy the tank as they start to grow up.

Thanks guys and gals!!! He's the best. Who knew one could love someone so much!!! He's very good too. He eats just about every four hours and fourty-five minutes, stays away for about an hour after just "taking it all in" then sleeps till the next feeding. I haven't wanted to put him down all day. I was just sent away to the computer by my wife (for the first time ever) because she wanted to hold him. I was an only child and don't like to share!!! I guess I'll just have to learn.
