Whoever has the box from Tuesday should make arrangements to drop it off to me today, if possible.

QC, were you guys interested in another drive this way? I will be around the house all day friday.

If anyone is coming saturday please let me know as soon as you can so I can make plans to be AT the house. If it is nice out I take the dog's for two to three walks a day, play golf, ride bikes, if I dont have to be at the house i try not to be.
 
I think we need to get up there tommorw as I don't think the one extra day was a good idea. I got mine and bgreenlee Astreas and out of a 125 maybe 30 haven't moved. They don't smell dead but there not moving yet. I would hate to repeat that with the rest of the order.
 
Hey craig can you grab mine again? I can swing by your house and pick them up if you're going to be around tomorrow night. What time do you get home from work?
 
You guys were on the tail end of the two days in the bag, sorry. Next time, i will put them in the sump if they can not be picked up the day they arrive.

i watched about 5 of mine get ate last night by a couple blue leg hermits, all the canibals were plucked from the main tank and tossed in the sump. no snails down there for them to eat anymore.

Snails are scheduled to arrive in the next couple hours. Fedex says the box is sitting on a truck driving down from CR as i post this.
 
Anyone that needs me to bring there package to Des Moines let me know as soon as possible. As of right now I am going to meet slovan and dascharisma somewhere in the Des Moines area this afternoon. I am hopefully going to get off of work around 3:30 or 4:00 so I should be in Des Moines by 6:00 at the latest.
 
Snails are in. Everything is here and looks good. Keys really pulled through with all the Fedex BS!


now lets get them out of my house!!

So how are everyones snails and other stuff doing?

I think about half my astreas didn't make it. (15 out of 30) Not sure about the ceriths. They were all over the tank 1 hour after I put them in the tank but when I got home from work last night they were all piled in a corner and they're still all still in the same spot 24hrs. later. I just put the Blue legs in and they all scattered as soon as they hit the tank. Mostly picking at the astreas that haven't moved yet. I think they're looking for new homes already. :rolleye1:

Oh well though we'll see what happens I guess hopefully the tank starts looking better though!
 
The second batch seem fine the ceriths took off like a shot. 200 snails is alot when they all start moving around!
 
Mine were just the opposite. I have about 18 out 50 blue legs that are living. They are still in the same spot I put them in when I got back from Iowa City.
 
The snails I have I think are all alive, a couple of the astreas havent moved, but they are alive.

The ceriths may be on crack, im not sure, they are covering a lot of distance.
