Night Photography

This was my first attempt at night photography. Took a trip out to Lake Eola and took some shots of the downtown skyline here in Orlando. Pics are with the Nikon D40 and 18-55mm lens.

Any critiques are more than welcome :D

Nicely done. The primary suggestion that I'd make is to level the horizon.

Guess I should not be drinking when I evaluate my photos!
Good catch Beerguy, here they are straightened (I think):

Thanks all for the kind words!! Here's a link to the pics with the EXIF data for the settings.

Great job. What kind of shutter speed did you get? I'd just hop into Photoshop and straighten the pictures up.

The shutters were different between all three photos.. I think it was 3, 5 , & 10 seconds.

I already did straighten the photos (see second batch). Right?

Really, That slow? I'm a newb. I figured the waves would be blurred if the shutter speed was real slow. Very nice pics. I do see they are straight now. I'm a little slow :)

Gorgeous shots, looks good!

But I think they are still off-horizon lol! Easy fix though, use a eye peice grid and get it level off the hop.
