No Status light, No nothing?

I had just unplugged everything to bring into my office to do the WXM update and update the two Vortechs Firmware i just hooked up (which I found out you can't do off a wireless switch located at the tank). Went to plug it back in and EB8 is just blinking yellow and the ethernet outlet is yellow but no status light and no power to Apex Display.

So now what do I do? I emailed Neptune and called them and left a voicemail. My AI Sol Leds are controlled by my VDM which is controlled by my Apex. So no lights because it's either all or nothing if you don't have the AI Controller. My heater is controlled by Apex which doesnt have it's own thermostat.

Howabout putting a Reset button on these things or something?

Did you try plugging the controller into one of the other USB jacks on the EB8?

Do you have a 12v transformer with a compatible plug that you can get power to the controller that way?

If you take the EB8 and the controller to another circuit in your house, completely separate from your tank and plug them in, do you get lights that way?

Don't take this the wrong way, but did you remember to plug the aquabus cable into the apex itself when you plugged the EB8 back in?

yes, I tried all of them. And I tried different Jacks in the House... The issue seems to be with the Controller? I don't think the EB8 or the power is the issue.

Yes, it is plugged in and seeing power as the ethernet input Led is yellow...

I guess I should not hold my breath for Neptune Support to call or email me back?

Swapped out the USB cable running between EB8 and controller and it works again...

I think it could have been a short in the wire?

Whatever works now, just down 1 wire
