very nice - love the "ric forest"!
What is that fish in the next pic with the gorgeous acro?

Got a question for the mod. I am hooking up my nitrate reactor I have a 4 tube and a gallon of the sulfur and a gallon of the arm. Curious how much you would recommend on a 600 system with about 425 water and plenty of nitrates? Thanks Nook...

Working on the trim now, should have some pics of the finished product in a couple of weeks. Had a lot of help from close friends getting it all done, now just have to sand a bit more and then paint the doors and trimwork.

Cool...when you are done come help me remodel this spare bathroom from the 60's...and bring some frags. :D

Pics while in progress are fun too, you know. :)

Hey Dave, I need to get over there and take some pics for you.

Just out of curiousity, how are you handling humidity from your system? I know you have an air conditioner in the fish room, but what do you do in the winter months?

Air conditioner 24/7, 365 days a year. Works as a dehumidifier on all but the coldest days and then the exhaust fan on the humidistat does the rest. I have a fresh air intake and the vent out.

Pictures would be great, I need to get this trimwork painted asap.

Its great to here you perfected your sanding skills, I can put you to work for sure ;)

Glad your almost done with this project, although i see theres going to be more plumbing in the future:hammer::lol:

What, you mean you STILL aren't done sanding that 450 gallon tank yet:lol:??? Let me know if you want to spend a few hours working on it some night.

I'm swapping out the fuge for a frag tank here in a couple months or so.

Next time I make it over to your place I'll take some pics and pester you for more info on that part of your system.

Just updating...

I have the doors and trimwork painted on the cube tank side and will start on the long tank side here shortly. I estimate another month before it is all completed and then I need to snag one of my photographer friends to take some pics of the finished project.

My denitrator has been an awesome tool for this system and has kept my nitrates at zero to five. Last night I noticed that the sulphur media and sponge were looking kind of dirty and needed a good cleaning, so I took it apart and rinsed the sulphur pearls with RODI thoroughly. Cleaned up the reactor and restarted it at a drip per second. Amazing how yellow clean sulphur pearls can look:D

Another change is that the display fuge is coming down and going to a friend of mine here. I am putting up a 30x30 frag tank for growing out some of my favorite SPS and softy frags. Looking at an ATI T5 fixture for that application.

A few pics a good friend took last week:
