Really like the blue reef chromis. I may have missed it in the earlier pages, but where are you getting your fish? Great system, btw. It's been enjoyable watching it progress.

I am getting my fish from several places...LFS, Foster & Smith, Trades with local reefers, and a Wholesaler I know.

I really like the chromis too...They keep the action going all day. I think I have around 13 of them. I would like to have a huge school of anthias next. I am thinking like 30ish of Bartlett and Carberryi Anthias.

I was doing some random tank maintenance last night and noticed I have a large "bug" community already. I think its safe to add a mandarin in the next couple weeks.

Looks good. Just a suggestion on the PO4 test. Not sure how accurate you would like to get, but I'd look into a photometer for more accurate results, especially if you get heavily into SPS.

Your closed loop manifolds are sure well hidden! Where in the pictures are the outlets located? Really slick idea!

Another test kit suggestion for you would be a Free and Total Chlorine test kit to give you some extra peace of mind for your ozone. I use the Hach CN-70 color wheel set for my tank.

Randy Holmes-Farley wrote a great 3 part series on ozone; the second article includes details of what the Hach kit will help you test.

It's just an extra peace of mind to help you keep an eye on how well your ozone setup is using the ozone, and if any ozone or byproducts are making it in to your system.

I had an incident with ozone years back where an overdose ended up killing off a number of corals and fish.

The closed loop is hidden within the rockwork and there are a couple outputs on the sandbed with rock glued on the lock-line.

I will definately look at the Chlorine tests for the ozone. Thanks for the info.

Skip the one-test meter and get a full blown unit. There is a new one coming out (if it isn't out already) that is geared toward the aquarium hobby and tests ALL the tests we want to. It is retailing for around $800 but considering what individual colorometers cost, it's a bargain.

try easymeters.com. Be very careful to review the specs. as last year's model had a couple issues. My contact there is Barbara Crenshaw. Tell her I sent you.

The only problem with this one that I can see is the hardness tests, but apparently you can use simple math to figure it out. I think doubling the sample or something like that. It was not available yet last time I checked but that was a couple months ago.

Is the other testing accurate?? I need to read up more on this multi-tester. Sure looks interesting

Looks awesome! I think that once your coraline and frags come in, that is goint to be one unreal tank.

Sorry the Volcano didnt work out for you. Glad you posted your issues as I was trying to get Scott to quote me on my 120x36x30.

Looking good! Keep the pics coming...

I miswrote that before...the problem area is the calcium:

"Calcium 0 to 400 mg/L"

Nitrate is not such a good range either:

"Nitrate 0.0 to 30.0 mg/L"

The rest I think is fine. I just email her back asking about the Ca measurement because we had talked back & forth and she said they were going to get a resolution from Hanna. I just want to check that out as this is a primary test we all do.

About as accurate as we can get without popping off serious money.

I have a bit of a problem...

My pH is at 9.12 and its accurate (tested 3 times against probe in sump. No coral or fish loss at of yet (knock on wood). Can I dose vinegar? or what might be a solution to this problem?
