Redox. in my last post i had seen only the first pic and i didn't see there any sign of algae. Others pics really show some algae and I had them too. I siphon them and increasing pH and kH i got rid off them. Avoid spread them in tanks.

Thanks Mike @ Blue Zoes

Thanks Mike @ Blue Zoes

I just got a saturday delivery from Blue Zoes. 240 snails. That should help on my cleanup efforts. My new lab puppy locked me out of my truck at the fed-ex this morning. I ran in to get my package and went to get in the RUNNING truck and dang. It was locked. Luckily the Dodge dealer is less than a mile from fed-ex. Took them the vin# and they made me a new key for 15bucks. Man that was lucky

redox I am so tired I cant hardly move thanks to your inspiration. Ive been building my reef room in a corner of my orchid greenhouse.Lugging block and mixing mortor for the brick layer is not easy. I am about ready to look for a helper for this guy. Since I closed the walk in to the greenhouse had to make a door in the den , of course this was after we put up the walls and my wife says "how am I suppose to water the orchids, I have pictures but am too tired to post them. Thanks for the inspiration. Jimmy

I love watching the build process... post some pics when you can... or start a new thread for your thread and add a link here to let all of us know... =)

jimi hope all goes well with your construction ;) wish I could be there to help. If I could I would:smokin: . Ok took some new picks tonight. The algae is unbearable. But first here are pics of mangrove pods (the same batch that are in saltwater in the gh) In my freshwater turtle habitat

Yes nugz they do well in fresh as well. I gave some to a friend that has a freshwater tank and the roots are growing fast. I will try to get him to send me pics(he lives in Raleigh).
