November Meeting

Well, its clear we have quite a bit to discuss at this upcoming meeting... The third Saturday this month will be Nov. 17th... This is the weekend before Thanksgiving, so hopefully it won't interfere with any Holiday plans... Lets go ahead and try to get a place and time scheduled sooner rather than later so that we can have maximum turnout...

I will volunteer to have November's meeting at my house. However, if someone else, with an actual reef tank with water and live critters in it, would like to volunteer I will wait until a later date. I know a good discussion topic at most meetings is the host's tank.

If you want, you can here what my plans are and make suggestions or corrections.
You could volunteer to help, also.
There will be lots of heavy lifting.

Again, others feel free to step-up and have the meeting at your house. I will not be offended. I have attended so many meetings at the home of others, some more than once, I figured it was my turn even if I do not have a tank to show everyone.

If it ends up being at my house, my wife has ask if I could give her a head count.

If everyone would like to come out to our home, we will host the meeting here.
Would be nice if you guys could see my tank and tell me what kind of plant is over taking my tank? I was able to pull some of the grass like stuff off the rocks during our move. But this stuff is growing back.

Although I do not have the authority to make such a decision, since Donna and I are the only volunteers for November, the meeting will be at Donna's home.

What to eat? BBQ or Pizza?( either one home made)
I know you some of you guys would like beer right?

Typically the person hosting does the main course and everyone else brings side items/drinks... Last month was a bit different only because Jeff was out of town untill the night before, but everything still went great...

What has been the times from past meetings? I was thinking around 1p.m. but. I was also wondering if it wouldn't be better to hold meeting in the afternoon, incase anyone has things to do during the day.

We typically have them start between 12-2pm... But sometimes its more convenient for the host/hostess to have it later, so we've had them start at 6pm also... If you want 1pm just let us know!!!

I can ride or drive. Although, nobody has wanted to let me drive in the past.

Alright...alright! I'll make the cookies for this one too.

I can give Ashley Jo the recipe if you want me to though (sure enough way to fatten you up for winter).

Eddie...I think carpooling to this meeting is a really good idea.
