I am looking for a good location to collect a few hundred gallons of NSW for my new tank, I'm setting up a new 265 with a 100g sump... I have a sailboat that i could take out, but with the quantity i need i would like to just collect from shore. My boat is docked about 0.25 mile inland just behind Peanut Island off of Lake Worth Inlet. I was planning on pumping from my dock to a couple of trash cans in my van at the end of an incoming tide for the cleanest water, think this will be ok? I also noticed a good spot on Google Earth on Singer Island that should have road access near the beach, and is right on the inlet..
If you know of a good shore based collection point your input is greatly appreciated!
BTW, my van is a big ford 350 commercial diesel and can hold a few extra barrels for water if anyone wants to help out..
