do u guys think that flatworm exit would help?

Any input would help!

thanks !

Only if you remove all the zoas, but the dose that will kill the nudis would probably harm your other tank inhabitants. I have never dosed a tank with FWX but have seen a tank get nuked by it, though this was due to thousands of flatworms.
I add a couple drops to a quart or so of tank water and let new zoas sit in it for 15-30 minutes.
It would be difficult to treat with it if you have lots of zoas and LR they are attached to and it will not kill the eggs besides.
I had a terrible problem with nudis some time back and everyday any zoas I saw closed I hunted for nudis and plucked them with tweezers. I would shut off the current when I did this in case I dropped it.
Took about a month of persistent hunting and I became pretty good at it spotting them as they will change to the colro of the zoas they are eating.
Eventually I found no more and since dip all new zoas. My stomach still tightens when I see a zoa closed up, but so far so good on the nudis.
There are others that will chime in and suggests wrasses that might eat them so you might try that too if practicle. I don't know about the wrasses myself.
Good Luck.

thanks for the input zoadude, actually i have hunted today , found a lot.
i have about 30-40 lb of LR, most of the zoas are on the sand.
i have a coris wrasse on the tank, im not sure if its helping, maybe i dont see the diference cuz i have many nudis.

any other person that can sugguests any option to get rid of them.

make sure you are getting the eggs as well, and from what i can remember flatworm exit dosent work for nudis

Yes it does, depending on dose. But would I treat the whole tank... NO. I don't have definite knowledge on what it would do to your whole tank system, well being etc. It can work as a dip, when your dipping colonies/frags in a separate 5 gallong bucket or so.

Manual removal, dipping , repeat this process for a couple weeks and get a yellow coris then call it a day.

I got rid of mine with FWE and a yellow corris. My tank is all zoas, rics and anemones, so i can't speak to the safety of treatment on other tank inhabitants. I dosed at 3x the recommended flatworm dose. I did 3 treatments 5 days apart and then added a yellow corris for insurance. Haven't seen one in several months.

FWE does work, and like phurst and my self mentioned, it works with higher doses sometime 3-4 times the recomended sometimes even more. But depending on how much you dose, the size of your system, no one really knows the over affect this product has on the tank and it's OTHER INHABITANTS. Which is why I recommend doing higher doses in a separte 5 gallon bucket or larger and dip and treat those in that container instead of the system. The on going inspections, dips in the oncoming weeks while addiding a natural preadator SHOULD help in clearing out others that were missed in the main tank. " WE ALL HOPE "

what kind of coris do you have?
when i unfortunatley got the nudis, i dipped with furan2 (i also had pox :( ) inspected with toothpicks manually removing nudis and doing my best to find the egg sacks. i did this for about 10 days until my LFS got in a yellow coris wrasse and BAM, no more nudis :D
good luck!!

I pulled about 85% of my zoas this morning and dosed with 4x FWE in a 3 gallon tank. it wrecked havoc on the brittle stars, stomatella snails and nudis that were on the zoas. I went through the remaining tank with a mag glass to check the other zoas.
I like the idea of the yellow coris wrasse but I already have a 6 line wrasse in my 40g and don't know how well the two would get along.

I've had 6line's kill other wrasses 4 times their size. I say get him out temporarily. Introduce the yellow coris and allow for a couple weeks to a month or 2 for the YC to get fully acclimated and strong enough that when you re-introduct the 6' he would be able to fend himself, the 6 forgets that it's his old territory which makes him less aggressive. that's only if you have a separate tank.
