Nursery tank lighting

I have a breeding pair of Cardinals, and we have decided to try our hand at keeping the fry alive. We have a 10 gallon aquarium that was used for freshwater years ago. We hoping this tank is big enough but we just are not sure of what lighting to use. Will the standard freshwater lights work??

Yes, the light just has to be intense enough to allow the fry to see their prey items, which the single fluorescent bulb does.
